Contributors / Credits
Adam Feltes - Owner, Studio D
Get the juice on Adam here.
Dan Newell - AKA The Assistant Dean Bubba Ray
Dan is the co-owner of The Green Room Recording Studio (Harrisburg, PA) and Store Manager of Guitar Center (Harrisburg, PA). He’s been my friend since college. He has helped design the studio, fill it with great gear at a great price, and show us how to get the most out of it. More importantly, he’s been a tremendous contributor to the music produced at Studio D - from idea to execution. Dan’s a fantastic, well-rounded musician, a college trained recording engineer, and a studio gear expert and technician... my all-in-one solution, and a big part of Studio D’s past, present, and future.
Jon Croganli - AKA Ralphie.
Jon is a friend and fraternity brother of Dan and I. He lived at Studio D for a year and helped us by being a critic, inspiration, and fill-in musician both for song-writing and recording. He plucks a bass and slaps a djembe drum when needed, and we love him for it. *
Ryan Meyer - AKA Studio Bitch
Ryan is another friend and fraternity brother, only from a younger generation. Like many students at Lebanon Valley College, Ryan’s a musician. Ryan provided Adam’s vocal lessons for “Do You Remember” and acted as our assisting engineer (studio bitch) while in the Green Room. Apparently, he can sort of play a harmonica, too. Props, bro. Thanks.
Lynn Donmoyer - AKA Shorty
You guessed it - Lynn was a friend from college. A true Tau Kappa Epsilon sweetheart. Lynn came for a visit and actually wanted to sit in the studio for hours and watch me work. It turned out she did more than watch. I spent 30 minutes with my eyes closed while I had her adjusting preamp, compressor, and parametric EQ settings until what I “heard” was just right. My baby girl, Taylor, sounded amazing. Chocolate was the result. A fantastic job of engineering an acoustic, thanks in large part to Lynn.
Robin Hartung - AKA RawBan
Robin sang the back-up parts on Deep Ellum. She has no formal training, but that’s not what Studio D is about. It’s about music. Fantastic job!
NovocaiN -
Thanks to the cast for giving me a real project to chew on. The practice playing, engineering, and producing was invaluable.
Other than Studio D, we’re all associated with TEKE.
Tau Kappa Epsilon, International Fraternity
Rho Chi Chapter, Lebanon Valley College
* He also drinks a third of the case so Dan and I stay somewhat coherent during recording and mixing.
