Our friends

The green room Studio
Owned and operated by Derrick Euston of the Underwater and Dan Newell. Derrick has produced many local PA artists. Search him out on My Space. Newell is a key contributor, and essentially co-founder of Studio D, but mostly works as the store manager of Guitar Center, Harrisburg, PA. “Do You Remember,” was recorded at the Green Room free of charge. Cheers!

Cherryville studio
Rick Babcock’s specialty is recording female folk artists under his record label, Sound Thing. For me, he’s provided some great direction as a music teacher and mentor - harmony theory, ear training, song writing, finger picking, and sight singing/playing. Although he’s opened up a world of valuable resources for me, he also has been a great critic of my 2008 recordings, providing tips for recording vocals and such. Engineering and editing tips are not covered under the fee for music lessons, so this makes him a friend of Studio D, not just a paid partner. Cheers!

DB Sullivan Studio
Owner and artist, Dave Sullivan, painted the mural on the studio D wall for pennies, coffee, and cream. Cheers!
